My fee for each hour of psychological service is $230 for individual and couples sessions, in line with the recommendation from the British Columbia Psychological Association. Sessions follow the “50-minute hour” format, with 50 minutes of client time and 10 minutes reserved for preparation and note-taking.
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations or missed appointments with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged at the full fee.
I accept credit card payment or e-transfer.
Additional information:
- Fees are tax-exempt.
- Services are not covered by MSP.
- Fees are generally deductible as a medical expense for income tax purposes.
- Extended Health Benefit Plans may provide partial reimbursement for counselling services; coverage varies by provider.
