Fees

My fee for each hour of counselling/psychotherapy service is currently $180 for individual counselling and $195 for couples counselling, in line with the recommendation of the British Columbia Association for Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Sessions follow the “50-minute hour” format, with 50 minutes of client time and 10 minutes reserved for preparation and note-taking.

I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations or missed appointments with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged at the full fee.

I accept credit card payment or e-transfer.

Additional information:

• Fees are tax-exempt.
• Services are not covered by MSP.
• Fees are generally deductible as a medical expense for income tax purposes.
• Extended Health Benefit Plans may provide partial reimbursement for counselling services; coverage varies by provider.
